Carl Hartung completed his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education at the State University of New York College at Oswego, New York and a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He holds a certification as a National Certified Counselor and as a Certificated Rehabilitation Counselor.
He is a Professional Member of the American Counseling Association, National Career Development Association and a professional member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
He has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at North Central Technical College, Mansfield, Ohio and as an Adjunct Training Instructor at the Research & Training Center, University of Wisconsin - Stout. He has worked as a Career Counselor, Vocational Analyst and Vocational Expert for the past 26 years. He is currently a recognized Vocational Expert to the State of Ohio and the United States Government. He has personally completed over 1,200 individual vocational evaluations.
Besides his career counseling activities, Mr. Hartung advises attorneys, corporations and universities on matters relating to vocational analysis, job description development and wage surveys. He is an expert on the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, Occupational Employment Statistics/Standard Occupational Code (OES/SOC) Database and to use of the Occupational Information Network (O*NET).
